For blood to be able to clot, many proteins have to work together in the blood. Many of these proteins are produced in the liver with the involvement of vitamin K. You have too few of one or more proteins for blood clotting in your blood. The reason for this may be another disease.
If proteins are not working properly or if there are too few of them in the blood, the blood does not clot sufficiently. In that case, you may bleed more easily. As a result, you bruise much more easily than usual, among other things. These bruises will show up as black and blue marks under the skin. Bleeding inside the body is also possible. In your case, this condition has developed over the course of your life.
