ICD-Code O12.1: Gestational proteinuria
You are excreting too much protein in your urine during your pregnancy.
The kidneys filter blood and create urine. Normally very little protein gets into the urine via the kidneys. During pregnancy, the kidneys work harder and are also slightly more permeable to proteins. This means that more protein is passed from the blood into the urine. However, in your case, you have too much protein in your urine.
