OPS-Code 5-658.6:
Operations on the ovary: Adhesiolysis on ovary and fallopian tube with microsurgical management: On the peritoneum of the female pelvis
Adhesions in your pelvis were separated during an operation.
The adhesions were on the thin membrane lining your abdominal organs. The abdominal organs are located in the abdominal cavity. The inside of the abdominal cavity is covered by a thin membrane. This thin membrane also surrounds all the organs in the abdomen. The organs can move against each other thanks to this thin membrane.
The operation was performed with the aid of magnifying loupes or a surgical microscope. Special instruments were used to make fine stitches.
