The two fallopian tubes go to the right and left of the ovaries towards the womb. They are like tubes and they transport the egg cells from the ovaries to the uterus.The fallopian tubes open into the abdominal cavity. The ends of the fallopian tubes catch the egg cells from the ovaries.
During the surgery, a colored fluid was injected into your uterus. Then, an observation was made to see whether the fluid entered the abdominal cavity. If the fallopian tubes are patent, the fluid enters the abdominal cavity.
