OPS-Code 5-704.01:
Operations on vagina and pouch of Douglas: Vaginal colporrhaphy and pelvic floor plasty: Anterior wall plasty (in (urethral) cystocele): With alloplastic material
You had surgery on the front wall of your vagina.
The vagina is tubular and leads from the outside to the uterus. The front wall of the vagina borders on the bladder and urethra. When you have to pass water, the urine flows from the bladder via the urethra and out.
During the operation, an incision was made in the front wall of your vagina from the inside of the vagina. A synthetic mesh was then placed between the front wall of your vagina and your bladder. This also slightly lifts the bladder.
