During surgery, a cyst on a gland next to the opening of your vagina was opened.
The vagina is tubular and leads from the outside to the uterus.There are two glands in the area around the entrance to the vagina. The glands are each roughly the size of a pea. The glands produce a fluid when you are sexually aroused.
A cyst is a cavity filled with fluid. During your operation, the wall of the cyst was stitched to the surrounding tissue. This is intended to prevent a cyst from forming again.
