The birth of your baby was assisted by a vacuum cup.

During childbirth, the baby must pass through the maternal pelvis. There are different levels within the pelvis. The child first passes through the pelvic inlet, then the midpelvis, and finally the pelvic outlet.

A suction cup can be attached to the back of the child’s head during the labor. Your baby’s head was in the mid pelvis. The pulling force on the vacuum cup is intended to assist the vaginal delivery of the baby.
