The upper row (of bones) is towards the fingers. The carpal bones are connected to each other via joints.
The carpal ligament is located at the wrist. It forms the roof of the carpal tunnel. The carpal tunnel is a tunnel-like passageway in the wrist. It is made up of bone and ligaments. The carpal tunnel is in the wrist on the side where the palm of the hand is. The tendons of some finger muscles and a nerve run through the carpal tunnel.
